• Early Quaternary. Thickness of the first member: 109,7 m.

•Semisulcospira, Viviparus, Margarya, Unio have been found only in the clay of the lower part of the first member; mammals are from the whole first member.

Environment/lithology: lacustrine; unlithified, gypsiferous, black, brown, gray, green, yellow, carbonaceous claystone and unlithified, fine-grained, brown, yellow sandstone

• variegated clay, alternated with subclay and thin-bedded sand and intercalated with lignite and black carbonaceous clay; calcareous and ferruginous concretions in the sandlayers
