Environment/lithology: transition zone or lower shoreface; poorly lithified, shelly/skeletal sandstone and poorly lithified, ferruginous, gray siltstone

• Epicontinetal platform of the Turan Plate
• 0.20m thick laminated sandstone with frgments of molluscs at the base of Layer 3 overlain by

•3.5 m of siltstone with echinoids at the base and bivalves on top.

•4.5 m of siltstone on top of Layer 3

Size class: macrofossils

Preservation: mold/impression, recrystallized, original calcite, replaced with calcite
