All code related to the Paleobiology Database is open source and is accessible on Github.

Funding

Current development of the PaleoBioDB database, API, website, and example applications is being carried out in the Department of Geoscience at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Primary support by the UW-Madison Department of Geoscience and the U.S. National Science Foundation EAR Geoinformatics grant 0949416 (2010-2016). Additional support provided by NSF ICER grant 1541002 (2015-2016).
