Sinopterus gui
Taxonomy
Sinopterus gui was named by Li et al. (2003). Its type specimen is BPV-077, a skeleton (Nearly complete skeleton with partial skull), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Chaoyang pterosaurs (PROXY), which is in an Aptian lacustrine horizon in the Jiufotang Formation of China.
It was synonymized subjectively with Sinopterus dongi by Kellner and Campos (2007), Wang and Dong (2008) and Zhou and Wang (2010).
