Taxonomy
Pomerantsoceras tibia was named by Kröger (2007). Its type specimen is TUG 1227/14. Its type locality is Porkuni, Siuge Member, which is in a Porkuni perireef or subreef lime mudstone/chert in the Ärina Formation of Estonia. It is the type species of Pomerantsoceras.
