It was assigned to Macronaria by Sander et al. (2006), Ksepka and Norell (2010) and Bolecsek and Wings (2013); to Brachiosauridae by D'Emic (2012), Mannion et al. (2013), D'Emic (2013), D'Emic et al. (2016), Mannion et al. (2017) and Mannion et al. (2019); and to Camarasauromorpha by Carballido et al. (2015) and Carballido et al. (2020).
