Arnager Greensand Formation, Stampe A area, Bornholm (Cretaceous of Denmark)

Where: Denmark (55.1° N, 14.7° E: paleocoordinates 44.4° N, 13.3° E)

• coordinate estimated from map

• small collection-level geographic resolution

When: Arnager Greensand Formation, Middle Cenomanian (99.6 - 93.5 Ma)

• 'Inocermid fauna of the basal part of the greensand... the Arnager Greensand s. str. can be referred to the lower Middle Cenomanian on ammonite and inoceramid bivalve evidences... on foraminiferal evidence, the basal 5 m of the greensand is from the Lower Cenomanian'; the inocermids where derived from an 'indurated bed in the basal part of the Arnagar Greensand'

• bed-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: shoreface; lithified, bioturbated, glauconitic sandstone

• classification based on high bioturbation
• 'poorly sorted, glauconitic quartz sand... the greensand is unconsolidated except for a few cemented beds in the basal part and is heavily bioturbated.'

Size class: macrofossils

Preservation: mold/impression

Collection methods: Museum repositories: MGUH and GM
