• Savage (1977) found conodonts.

•Has been put in Karheen formation, but that should be restricted to the Late Silurian; Blodget et al (2010) note that it is very similar to Soda Creek.

Environment/lithology: reef, buildup or bioherm; silty limestone

• Allocthonous deposits. General geological setting interpreted as island arc, in which shelly fossiliferous units represent carbonate banks and reefs. In some places these are associated with plant-bearing or graptolite-bearing shales.
