When: Staniukovich Formation, Tithonian (152.1 - 145.0 Ma)

• Exposures only fair to poor, but the best locally available. Beds dip consistently southwest. Collection from Staniukovich Formation near base of section. Staniukovich Formation locally exceeds 850 feet and comprises sandstones with some siltstone and claystone in upper part. Listed as Portlandian in age = Tithonian.

Environment/lithology: marine; fine-grained, medium, brown, gray, green, argillaceous sandstone and brown, gray, green siltstone

• No paleoenvironmental data reported.
• Sandstone and siltstone, gray green to brown or tan, weathering yellowish tan, medium- to fine grained, moderately well sorted, argillaceous, locally feldspathic with few streaks of shaly siltstone and claystone.
