• Late Lower Pleistocene. Originally thought to be a Plio-Pleistocene site, but later work suggests it is more likely to be Lower/Middle Pleistocene instead.

• A lion skeleton (Felis (Leo) spelaea) is also in the collection, but probably not associated with the other fauna. There is some doubt over the relationship between the medium sized deer, the badger and the other fauna.
