• 60-70 ft thick sandstone, an unspecified height above the base of the section; assigned to the Polyptchites (Tollia) cf. tolli biozone; classified as "Buff Sandstone Mbr" of the "lower sandstone division" in Jeletzky (1958); Jeletzky (1958) and Fowler and Braun (1993) assign this unit an Berriasian age.
