• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From the Stronvar Mbr of the Mangapokia Fm, which is unconformably overlain by the Gentle Annie and Springill Fm (Albian) of the Mangapururpuru Gp. The Taipo Fm interfingers with the Mangapokia Fm. AGE: Motuan (=Albian), on the basis of macrofossil biostratigraphy. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: Composite for entire member.

• ENVIRONMENT: Shallow marine siliciclastic paleoenvironment.
