Where: Namibia (21.1° S, 16.4° E: paleocoordinates 54.0° S, 9.9° W)
• coordinate estimated from map
• small collection-level geographic resolution
When: Cynognathus subzone C other zone, Upper Member (Omingonde Formation), Anisian to Anisian (247.2 - 237.0 Ma)
• "Based on the co-occurrence of Kannemeyeria and Erythrosuchus in subzone B of the Cynognathus Assemblage Zone, the Omingonde Formation may be broadly assigned an Anisian age." (Damiani et al. 2007. Palaeontology 50: 1531-1546)

•Locality RK-4 is stratigraphically high in the upper Omingonde Formation (see Abdala & Smith 2009: fig. 11). Abdala & Smith (2009) suggest the possibility of two different faunas in the upper Omingonde Formation; an older one corresponding to Cynognathus Subzone B and the upper possibly to Cynognathus Subzone C. On the basis of the presence of Chiniquodon in the upper fauna, Abdala & Smith (2009) tentatively suggested that the Omingonde could extend into the early Ladinian. This locality would therefore be late Anisian or early Ladinian in age
