Lithology description: Ref. 11073: "Burgsvik Beds (47m): Predominantly crossbedded and well-sorted sandstones with small-scale oscillation ripplemarks, load castings and ichnocoenosis indicate origin in a foreshore area. The uppermost part of this series consists of thinly crossbedded oolitic limestones, which indicates a trend toward more marine conditions."
