* legacy (obsolete) database fields
Stratigraphic resolution:group of beds
Stratigraphy comments: The formation encompasses two series: lower series - begins stratigraphically only a few meters above the top of the underlying Bradore Sandstone; upper - biostromal series with less pronounced ""reef"" characteristics that occur and seperated from lower series by about 20m of interbedded siltstones, shales and sandstones. AGE: Waucoban; refined by A. Hendy (6/2009) on the basis of biostratigraphic data (= Bonnia-Olenellus zone).

Modified further to Dyeran (PJW).
Lithology and environment
Primary lithology:red or brown lithified "limestone"
Environment:reef, buildup or bioherm
Modes of preservation:original calcite,original silica
Size of fossils:macrofossils,mesofossils
Collection methods and comments
Collection excludes:some macrofossils
Collection methods:bulk,field collection
Reason for describing collection:paleoecologic analysis
Taxonomic list comments:It should be noted that for some organism groups, such as trilobite, only some of the genera are identified, mostly for biostratigraphical correlation.
