Where: Altai (Region), Russian Federation (52.0° N, 86.0° E: paleocoordinates 2.6° S, 19.9° E)
• coordinate based on political unit
• local area-level geographic resolution
When: Glyptagnostus reticulatus trilobite zone, Kul'bich Formation, Sakian (497.0 - 492.8 Ma)
• Unfortunately, the localities are not designated as either terrigenous or calcareous terrigenous ""types"". Only vague lithologies can be inferred and ""types"" inferred through the biozone descriptions. If the lithology is the terrigenous type, the formation is Tandoshinskaya, if the lithology is calcareous-terrigenous type, the formation is either Yelandin or Bol'sheishin. PJW: reticulatus zone here now is the Kul'bich formation.
• formation-level stratigraphic resolution
Environment/lithology: lithified limestone
Size class: macrofossils
Collection methods: Does not include all of the polymeroid trilobites.
