Environment/lithology: coastal; lithified, fine-grained, coarse, gray, green, conglomeratic sandstone

• Dark greenish gray sandstone, fine-to coarse-grained, frequently poorly sorted and grading sometimes into more clayey varieties. The upper half of the member contains admixture of coarse-grained sand, gravel, and rare well-rounded pebble of intermediate volcanics and albitophyre. The sandstone contains also black vaguely and capriciously shaped clayey inclusions and wood fragments usually pyritized.
