Environment/lithology: shallow subtidal; lithified dolomite and lithified, black chert

• "Coarse crystalline dolomite with 'interbedded' black chert stringers, each in 2-3 inch layers; chert forming 50% of rock. Dolomite gradually grading to limestone in the lower 20 feet". Fossil in upper half.
