• General:dark colored shales, siltstones and minor sandstones with grey dolostone and fossil containing beds of platy dark grey limestone.

•Group of beds: Dark grey, olive bronw weathering, evenly laminated ferruginous lime mudstone with scattered well rounded and frosted quartz grains 1-2mm across on bedding surface on which the species occurs.
