Laurentiaux-Vieira et al., 1952 state that Triadotypus guillaumei var. nana is in the collection of École nationale supérieure des Mine de Paris, Nel et al., 2001 state that "This collection has been transferred to the University Claude Bernard, of Lyon-Villeurbanne, where this specimen is now missing, so that the type has to be regarded as lost."
