• Middle Pottsville. Palynomorph and marine invertebrates suggest that strata from the Black Creek through Brookwood coal zones are of Langsettian age (Eble and Gillespie, 1989), although macroflora may suggest that some strata are of Duckmantian age (Lyons and others, 1985).
