• Unit 3 - Middle to upper portion of the Teberemt Formation

• group of beds-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: marine; limestone

• Upward fining, retrogradational marine sequence. Increasing water depth is interpreted based on reduction of siliciclastics and increasing purity of carbonates upward through the sequence.
• A 3 m thick chalky, micritic limestone with thin shale partings
