Environment/lithology: lacustrine - large; lime mudstone

• The carbonate mud which forms the lithographic limestones of the Sierra del Montsec (particle size of about 3 m) was deposited in the deepest parts, in shallow water, deposition of charophytic limestones took place

• lithographic limestones intercalated within freshwater charophytic limestone

Preservation: mold/impression
