Environment/lithology: shallow subtidal; lithified, gray limestone

• Limestone, medium-grained to crinoidal; medium gray, weathering light gray; beds 8 inches to 2 feet thick; abundant cerioid corals, Syringopora mccutcheonae, and Omphalotrochus sp.; the so-called "coral bed."
