• Limestone, hard, gray, weathers porous to cavernous to many thin beds 1 ft thick; lower part weathers to blocks about 5 ft thick; some angular limestone fragments in lower part; blue gray shale parting in thin pelecypod-bearing limestone; iron stains abundant in some porous zones; fossil fragments common throughout; stylolites common
