• "The uppermost layers of the Trebotov Limestone should be ranged within the lowermost Eifelian."

Environment/lithology: deep subtidal; gray, red, argillaceous, calcareous lime mudstone

• "Benthic Assemblages 4 to 5 of Boucot."
• "well bedded, predominantly nodular, red, in the upper part also light grey micritic and biomicritic limestones with subordinate thin intercalations of green, red, or grey calcareous mudstone."
