•elly and coarse-grained sandstone are exposed in the

•island’s northern parts (Locs. 2903–2909)

•It thickens northeastward,

•and attains more than 10 m thickness (Locs. 2903,

•3201). The sandstones are characterized by crossstratified

•and lenticular to flaser-bedding containing

•wave and current ripple laminations (Locs. 1707,

•2903).
