Where: Russian Federation (51.3° N, 108.6° E: paleocoordinates 55.9° N, 109.3° E)

• coordinate based on nearby landmark

• small collection-level geographic resolution

When: Ichetuy Formation, Oxfordian (163.5 - 157.3 Ma)

• Insect workers often assign a late Early Jurassic-early Middle Jurassic (or Toarcian-Aalenian) age but radiometric dating of Ichituy Fm volcanics gives ages of 159-156 Ma

• bed-level stratigraphic resolution
