Where: Belgium (50.4° N, 5.1° E: paleocoordinates 17.3° S, 4.5° E)
• coordinate stated in text
• outcrop-level geographic resolution
When: Palmatolepis expansa conodont zone, Crupet Member (Evieux Formation), Late/Upper Famennian (364.7 - 360.7 Ma)
• PJW: Was Bois-des-Mouches; however, Denayer et al. (2016: Geol. Magazine) note that: 1) Bois-des-Mouches is a synonym of both the Montfort and Evieux formations (which are one after the other), and, 2) this is the Crupet member of the Evieux. The is in the expansa conodont zone, and thus Late Fammenian. Evieux overlies Montfort and underlies either Comblain-au-Pont (Dinantian Syncline) or Dolhain (Vesdre area). Crupet overlies the Royseux member & underlies the Comblain-au-Pont or Dolhain.
