• Uppermost lower red unit of the Tremp Formation, only 35m beneath the Vallcebre Limestones and laterally equivalent strata unit

• bed-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: fluvial; fine-grained, brown sandstone

• Fluvial, meandering river environment
• Fine-grained brownish sandstone body; red and purple mottling.

•It is interbedded with reddish siltstones, medium- and coarse-grained sandstones and microconglomerates.
