• Reptile Bed (“Fish and Saurian” Bed of Moore, 1866) of the Junction Bed, Upper Lias (Toarcian; Lower Jurassic) (Cope et al., 1980; Bennett, 1987). The fossil-rich Reptile Bed is within the lower part of the Upper Lias within the falciferum ammonite zone (Fig. 1b).
