• Salla Beds, an alluvial fill of a basin cut into deformed Palaeozoic strata at the edge of the eastern Andean Cordillera of northern Bolivia (Sempere et al. 1990). Predominantly argillaceous unit with occasional evaporite and tuffaceous intercalations (Hoffstetter, 1976).
