In the eastern part of Gotland...series of limestones (mainly wackestones and packstones), often oncolitic and with an impoverished fauna. They accumulated in shallow water under back reef to restricted marine conditions." This source gives no indication of where in this facies complex the samples were taken. I have made an informed probabilistic estimate of the environment based on the area of outcrop of each facies as shown on pages 279-280.
