When: Chipola Formation (Alum Bluff Group), Early/Lower Miocene (23.0 - 16.0 Ma)

Environment/lithology: marine; red, calcareous sandstone

• material consists of upwards of 40 fingers, movable and immovable, representing chiefly the major chela (C. floridana); 15 fragments of fingers (C. sapidus); two right propodal fingers (M. nodifrons); 30 fingers (E. limosum);
