Where: Spain (43.0° N, 4.6° W: paleocoordinates 50.1° S, 37.1° E)

• coordinate estimated from map

• outcrop-level geographic resolution

When: C Member (Lebanza Formation), Pragian (410.8 - 407.6 Ma)

• upper part of Member B and of the Member C

Environment/lithology: shallow subtidal; marl and shale

• upper part of Member B and of the Member C, those cycles consist of: 1) a lower interval of skeletal lime grain- to packstones, which may display cross-bedding; and 2) an upper interval of burrowed limestones, marly limestones and marlstones or shales. The bryozoan-bearing mud mounds occur in the upper interval of one of these cycles, and are less than two metres thick. They directly overlie the basal package of grainstones and are interbedded with bioturbated, fine-grained grain- to packstones with irregular, laterally discontinuous marly partings.
• marlstones and shales

Size classes: mesofossils, microfossils
