Environment/lithology: shallow subtidal; poorly lithified, sandy, conglomeratic sandstone and poorly lithified, silty mudstone

• The stratigraphical section encompassing both SEP-007 and the adjacent locality SEP-006 exposes some typical tidal deposits of the Miocene Ipururo Formation
• channel-shaped conglomerate with sandstone and mudstone clasts and a high concentration of fish and turtle remains.
