Environment/lithology: coarse channel fill; bioturbated, paleosol/pedogenic, fine-grained, red sandstone and fine-grained sandstone
•"The lower layer is a palaeosol consisting of fine-grained sandstone with edaphic carbonate nodules and root bioturbation (mottling). The upper layer is also composed of fine-grained sandstone, but it was produced by a low-energy mass transport that reworked the upper part of the palaeosoil and the bones contained at the top of the latter."
