Where: California (36.1° N, 116.2° W: paleocoordinates 1.8° S, 96.8° W)

• coordinate estimated from map

• outcrop-level geographic resolution

When: Olenellus trilobite zone, Pyramid Shale Member (Carrara Formation), Dyeran (515.3 - 511.2 Ma)

• Throughout the area of outcrop of the Carrara Formation, the lower 10 m of this member, or correlative beds in the east where the underlying Gold Ace Limestone Member is absent, contain the distinctive association of olenellids characteristic of the Olenellus multinodus Zonule.
