• Upper part of Belaya Kalitva Formation. Siltstone laterally replacing coal seam i3 beneath limestone I4-1, together with conchostracans, eurypterids, insects, and diverse plants. The fossil bed is assigned to the upper part of the Belaya Kalitva Formation (Krasnodonsky Horizon), terminal Bashkirian (Melekessian). Limestone I4 is of basal Bolsovian (Westphalian C) age (Eros et al., 2012).
