Environment/lithology: lacustrine - large; lithified siliciclastic sediments

• Type E lake of Sinitshenkova & Zherikhin. Thick lacustrine sequences (up to several hundreds of meters), lateral distribution up to few dozens of kilometers; mostly rich in carbonates; coalless, organic matter content from low to high (bituminous paper-shales); fossils mostly in siltstones, sandstones, and bituminous shales. Depth a few to a few dozens of meters.
