Environment/lithology: lithified, nodular, gray, red, argillaceous limestone

• Ammonitico Rosso facies-related, thick bedded (0.50-0.75 m), flaser-like or nodular limestones with reddish calcareous nodules and rare small-size cherry coloured chert nodules, separated by joints of cherry-reddish marls, interbedded with thin layers (0.10-0.15 m) of cherry-reddish coloured marly shales bearing sparse calcareous nodules.
