Environment/lithology: lithified, nodular, gray, red, cherty/siliceous limestone

• Closely alternating, very thinly bedded (0.02-0.05 m) cherry-reddish coloured nodular chert limestones with reddish calcareous nodules and marly shales; two distinct thin beds (0.09-0.13 m), standing in relief, of pelagic bivalve-bearing pinkish filamentous limestones with median bands of cherry coloured silica are intercalated at the top.
