• At contact between Dorotea and Rincón Negro Formations. "Rincón Negro" Formation is a name of local character equivalent to the Tres Pasos Formation. Upper Tres Pasos and lower Dorotea formations contain ammonoid Hoplitoplacenticeras, indicating a Late Campanian age.
