When: Pillsbury Shale Formation (Wabaunsee Group), Virgilian (303.7 - 298.9 Ma)

• Most of the gastropods were originally reported from the “Dyas” by Geinitz, which Meek (1867) equated with Marcou’s Unit C. Condra (1927) notes that this is the Table Creek Shale, which is now known as the Pillsbury Shale Formation. (Whew....)
