• The fossil-bearing sequence is approximately 1.5 m thick and comprises muds and siltstones intercalated with thin, sandy laminae.

Environment/lithology: estuary or bay; lithified, gray siltstone

• Fine, hard silt with a blocky fracture. The sediment is grey, but weathers to an orange-brown colour.
