Environment/lithology: shallow subtidal; unlithified, coarse-grained, ferruginous sandstone

• "Coarse-grained sands, replete with fossils and containing a thick oyster bank,

•generally indicate a shallow subtidal environment"

• ferruginous sand bed, irregularly cemented and coarse-grained in places
