When: Marsdenian (321.3 - 320.0 Ma)

• Placed in Namurian C by Laurentiaux 1952, but later in lower Marsdenian (upper Namurian B) by Laurentiaux-Vieira & Laurentiaux 1985. Brauckmann et al. 1996 cites personal communication from Dusar that indicates that the specimen was probably found in uppermost Marsdenian strata just below the base of the Yeadonian (about 3 m below the marine band which could be correlated to "Haupt-floz."
