• From Calcaire blanc (assise R de M. Arnaud), pierre de taille de Maurens, precisely located in Arnaud's bed b. Dr. M. Neumann compared the matrix of this specimen with the detailed section described by Neumann et al. (1984) and concluded that the lithology is that of unit 7 or 8 of their section and may thus be Upper Campanian.
