Environment/lithology: slope or ramp reef; massive packstone

• The prevailing texture is a packstone, although intense bioturbation may have caused patchy variations in texture and grain size. Coralline red algae are abundant, mainly represented by Melobesioideae and Mastophoroideae, and consist of fragments of protuberances or small rhodoliths, togetherwith fragments of thin, foliose thalli.
