Also known as 69-JLP-1
Where: Santa Cruz County, California (37.1° N, 121.9° W: paleocoordinates 43.3° N, 91.5° W)
• coordinate stated in text
• outcrop-level geographic resolution
When: Late/Upper Campanian (83.5 - 70.6 Ma)
• Age is poorly constrained but indicative of Late Campanian. Taxa have type locality near at Texas Flat, near Folsom, which belongs to Upper Campanian based on Baculites inornatus and B. occidentalis. Spondylus subnodosus has its type locality in the Santa Ana Mountains in Upper Campanian Metaplacenticeras pacificum zone. Baculitids found are only known from Late Campanian.
